Jason Spector founded Equitable Impact Strategies (EIS) to partner with organizations seeking to advance equitable impact with deep intentionality. Jason is a seasoned leader and strategist, with 15+ years of experience in advancing strategy, evaluation, and leadership for social impact entities seeking to operate with an equity lens. His work spans from education and youth development, to housing policy, to public health, and human rights, working in deep partnership with nonprofit, government, philanthropic, and socially-minded business entities.
Before launching EIS, Jason held a senior role at Policy Studies Associates, consulting on education and social impact capacity-building at the national, state, and local level. Previously, Jason served as the National Senior Director of Strategy and Evaluation for After-School All-Stars, a nonprofit reaching 90,000 youth annually, where he led evaluation and the development of national and local equity-centered strategic plans across 19 chapters.
Jason is also committed to systemic change in his civic capacity. He recently served as a mayoral appointee to the DC Commission on Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes, chairing the Outcomes and Needs Assessment Committee, where he strove to align city-wide policies and practices to community strengths and needs.
Recognized by the National AfterSchool Association as one of the most influential evaluators in the country, Jason holds expertise in strategic planning; leadership development; equity audits, program evaluation, and facilitation. Jason is a graduate of Bowdoin College and earned his Master's in Public Policy in Education from Vanderbilt University.
